serene gray + hydraganeas

Wow, what a day (week and month too actually) it has been! Feel like I have been on overdrive and planning event after event. I am in need of a little escape and would love to have come home to work to a home full of serene gray and dried hydrangeas.

powder blue + classic style

After a long week, the simple combination of powder blue with classic style is incredibly appealing. The whisper soft hint of color is both soothing and refreshing and I find great great comfort in its pairing with traditional motifs and pieces.

rest + renewal

Wow, storm clouds really are great motivation to get up and down from hiking the local buttes quickly! I just made it up one of my favorites in record time but now my body is exhausted. A nice hot soak in this lovely tiled tub sounds perfect right now.

And would I am sure I would instantly be rejuvenated after collapsing in this bedroom.

sweet slumber {cream + green}

I never thought that in the same weekend of hiking in shorts and a tank top that I would also be skiing--but this weekend that was the case and it made for an incredible one. However, I am currently just exhausted and would love to soak in this bathroom...

sweet serenity {slate+taupe}

The juxtaposition of warm and cool colors is so appealing to me and the perfect way to create a soothing, unpretentious and inviting space. The ideal palette to come home to after a hectic Monday.

serene {office} space

It is one of those days when I have so much to do at work that I don't even know what to do next which is why it has been quite the random smattering of posts today. I am testing a new theory, maybe posting my current ideal workspace would help me actually get some of it done? Ok, it is a long shot...

I just love the serenity of the all white space with those perfect lavender and taupe touches. I think the only thing I would change is to add a pillow to that chair-doesn't look overly comfortable. Ok, time to tackle that last press releases and grant report on the to do list!
