seaside {subtly} chic
Summer is officially here and it is time for people to venture off to there seaside summer retreats. This also means that beach homes are popping in almost every shelter magazine I open. I used to love the classic blue, red and nautical touches in these seasonal homes but am now drawn to a more sophisticated look, one that subtly draws on the colors and textures of a beach setting--just like these...

Green Tiles Granit for Kitchen Interior Design

Green granite tiles are made in various dimensions to provide complete customer satisfaction. These tiles are mostly suitable for making fireplaces and steps. These tiles are engraved in the walls of bathrooms and can be used for other different uses.

event inspiration {lime+biscotti}
I know that most party hosts love throwing an unique event full of personal and unexpected elements--which can be quite the task. I think it also tends to make people ignore classic color combinations, such as lime green and creamy biscotti, but they can still create an amazing and fresh look when textures are carefully chosen and details are not ignored.

After all there are a reason that these colors are classics!

color inspiration {grassy green}
For sometime now kelly green has been quite popular and is absolutely one of my favorites for its playful and vibrant quality. However I have also been swooning over interiors that feature paler and more sophisticated shade of this lovely color.

There is just something so soothing about this color and the perfect way to start another hectic day!

couldn't resist!
As much as I love white interiors and think they create a wonderfully soothing environment I just couldn't leave a day of posts without a little pop of color. Can you tell that this is constant struggle for me? So, I looked to my absolute favorite interior accent color to do the job!

Also, I have some exciting news (well, at least I am excited)! I just decided that I am going home at the end of April for a charity showhouse event. Which is exciting in itself but more so because one of my favorite designers, Kara Mann, is adding her touch to the showhouse (which she will be leading tours of). Oh, and the icing on the cake is that there will be a presentation from the one and only Charlotte Moss!

Gaga for Green
My favorite color hands down is green-it is so bright and cheerful that I am not sure how anyone could dislike it! It has consistently been either the main or accent color in most of my apartments over the years-at least when I have a say! I thought all of these items would be fun ways to inject this calming color into not only your home but your wardrobe:
L to R starting at the top left corner: Matches from the Monogram Shop, spatulas from William Sonoma, goblet from Anthropolgie, "Style" book from Kate Spade, floral print dress from Tibi, table lamp by Jan Showers, Shady Lace Parasol by Chris Kabel, slated bench by Staach, Jan Leslie frog Cufflinks from Neiman Marcus, green and blue pumps from J.Crew and KOZIOL shopping bag from the Conran Shop.
