I epassionately started researching various spaces or concepts that we may be able to adopt and adapt for inspirational space, again. Particularly like the small accent of color in each setting, and the offset casters of the chairs and other interior in the sitting area with the black color we can gain many creative combination.

{color inspiration} adding a little drama

Ok, from little black dresses to black interiors. Black is one color that I have really warmed up to lately for use in interiors. I think it creates such a luxurious and moody vibe to any space it is added to. I especially love the way it looks against warm hued wood floors.

not your average LBD

I was finally wrapping up switching out my winter wardrobe with my summer one and realized that I only have wintry little black dresses. And of course I am now thinking that I need one for the summer months too! So if price was of no object I think these would be the ones I would add to my closet:

Love that either from embellishments, materials or textures that these dresses are anything but the typical LBD. I think when it came down to it the Marni dress would be the one coming home with me. What are your little black dress requirements?

cheap(er) chic: home accessories

I thought that it may be fun to mix the cheap(er) chic series up by focusing on home decor as well. I will still be doing a fashion oriented one during the week in the same theme as the home decor version. I thought it was appropriate to start simple with basic black home accessories.
