the d*s apt project: episode 5 [the bathroom]

my original vision for the bathroom had been something clean, minimalist and miami green colored. then we realized we had an old, rundown bathroom that really didn't look clean or minimalist [click here for full photo show, sorry- our painter is in the shots]. so, until we get a new sink unit, we're going to have to work with what we have, which is, well, not a lot. i tried the miami green- didn't work. then i thought what about butter/sun yellow? not so much. now we're stuck in the no man's land of "we'll find a color to match the showercurtain when we pick one." so now i'm searching for a simple but beautiful cloth fabric curtain (i'm tired of the plastic kind) to inspire a color palette. but we're drawing a blank so far. in the meantime, enjoy my color mistakes. any suggestions for fabric shower curtains?
