ohhh, nate
Do you like this story?

oprah's super cute design guru, nate berkus, has teamed up with linens 'n things (that 'n really bugs me, don't know why) to debut a line of home, bed and kitchen products that work with any budget and decor.
the chicago based interior designer started nate berkus associates in 1995 at ripe old age age of 24 and started to build himself a reputation as a designer to watch. and then oprah found him. the rest is history. (man can that woman make or break you)
nate's collection is a series of textiles, diningware and home accessories that combine modern lines and colors with a more traditional aesthetic. what's nice about the line is first, its cost- most of us can afford the majority of these pieces. second, the line is subtle enough to blend into a number of existing styles, from the most modern decor to the most rustic country home. i'm quite fond of the chunky knit throw (i'd love to nap with one right now), which is a mere $80 at linens 'n things. but there's plenty to choose from, so check out the whole collection and pre-order right here (they will be ready to ship soon...). [thanks for the tip, michael!]
