west elm, take me away....

i normally don't love west elm- it's a bit too theme-y for me most of the time. but i'm glad they finally broke out of the purple and walnut phase (well, a little bit). however, their accessories are really starting to grow on me. namely their lighting. some are a bit pricey by my standards, but for the most part, they're decent and won't break the bank.

seeing as we're going to see another apt tonight, i'm hoping that i'll find a new place to put all this stuff tonight. i'd really like to clean out west elm's lighting and bedding dept, soooon.

their flared table lamps and case glass table/pendant lamps come in such nice spring shades that they'd make a lovely addition to any room in your house. the shot of the pendant lamps show how nicely they fit in a room without making too much of statement. although i rather like lamps that make a statement, especially of the pendant and chandy variety. but, something subtle lighting is called for and this type is great.

so, cruise on by west elm and check out their summer 2005 lighting and accessories catalog- it's great stuff that makes getting ready for spring decor a whole lot more exciting.
