thank goodness for following links. i was checking up on the online store that carries herman yu's paper goods below and found quite a few great things. hooray for online stores!

sterling place is a great little online store that specializes in gifts. their prices range from extremely affordable to a little high end, but for the most part, all of us can afford something on here. they don't provide intl shipping yet, but will soon. for now you can have your goods shipped everywhere in the us, including hawaii and alaska.

i was a sucker for sterling place's snail journals (i know, what am i, 5?), but they have way more to offer than just great journals. sterling place carries a wide selection of (albeit some more traditional than my style) of tableware, textiles, garden gifts and paper goods.

sterling place carries some beautiful blankets made by welsh company, melin tregwynt, that i absolutely love. they're a bit pricey ($245 for a 72” x 58” throw), but if you have it, they'd be a gorgeous addition to any couch, lounge chair or bed.

sterling place also carries a great spun bamboo bowl ($79) that is simple, sleek and way too cool to pass up. it's handcrafted via the ancient art of “spinning” bamboo in which individual strips of cut bamboo are hand wrapped and molded.
