nike id is having this blogger shoe design contest. they asked me to enter, along with a bunch of other bloggers (josh spear is involved). we had to go to the nike id site and design a shoe with the colors and options available.

i had no idea we were allowed to pic a shoe other than the one i used, but eh, i'm so-so with my result. i'm totally hooked on blue and red right now (thanks to union picnic's restaurant and their color theme), but i don't love the shoe too much. you can vote for your favorite and the winner gets 100 $50 gift certificates to give away on their blog if they win. (josh spear has a SERIOUS vote drive going, check it out) anyway, check it out if you have time. there are some cool entries- my favorites are stereo gum's and sneaker freaker's. clearly i'm not a shoe designer, nor do i have aspirations to be, so....don't laugh too hard. ;)
