no wait! this thing really rules.

say goodbye to the pod people of yesterday and say hello to the mica people of tomorrow. if you're like me and you're sick of hearing about more stupid ipod accessories, etc etc. then you'll love this- a new mp3 player from asono. it's called the asono mica and a wonderful reader sent it to me last week (gizmodo, the gadget mecca, wrote about it here). i love it. it's slick but in a sort of hip, retro way. the screen is on the bottom and looks so cool that i'm thinking of making this my new gift request when the next holiday rolls around. it's a bit on the pricey side but hey, it's not exactly like ipods are cheap. hopefully the mica will be a bit more reliable than the damn ipod that i'm convinced is designed to work exactly 2 days past the year warranty. damn you, ipod!
