On Tuesday, April 26, 2011, Fruitland officers travelled to the detention facility located in Hopewell, Virginia to pick up and transport the above named subject back to Maryland. The subject was wanted by the Fruitland Police Department for an October 10, 2010 theft in which he allegedly “bought” merchandise from a local business and “paid” for it with counterfeit U.S. currency.
The subject was also wanted by the Salisbury Police Department for similar offenses and had an active Fugitive warrant issued by Sussex County, Delaware.
