LAMPS UPDATE A SPACE

Are you needing to update a space in your home?  Try buying new lamps.  The lamps pictured are designer lamps, however, you can get this same look by shopping at TJ MAXX or MARSHALL'S.  Both of these discount stores have wonderful lamps.  For a sleek and symmetrical look, buy matching lamps.  


LIVING ROOM:  Place lamps on either side of the sofa.  A BEDROOM: Place lamps on each side of the bed.  * Do ensure the tables are the same height on each side. FLAIR TIP:  You can use a stack of 3-5 coffee table style books in order to balance the lamps.  FLAIR TIP:  Be careful to check the lampshade and the finial.  The lampshade and finial can "make or break" the design.  Does the seam show too much?  Is it well made? Remember: you can always buy the lamp base that you love and, find a more expensive lamp shade at a specialty lamp shop.
