My pond runneth overJust for the record Saturday, September 13, 2008 was a record day in Chicago. The most rainfall in any day in our history. My rain gauge was overflowing at 6 plus inches. Some areas were flooded and received over 7 . This is of course compliments of Hurricane Ike.
Rain is falling again today and I'm beginning to get stir crazy and so are my dogs who like me are used to going out for a walk.
My little rant is trivial compared to the devastation Ike left in Texas. My heart and prayers go out to those folks who lost their lives and homes.
