i've found my dream lamp for my sideboard. sadly it's way out of my budget, but we can all dream, no? these gorgeous "forest and shade" lamps are available online exclusively at velocity for $1300 and $1000 (large and small) from soleau design. based in northern california, soleau design focuses on organic, modern design and natural materials. all of their products are hand-made from renewable resources and the table lamps that comprise their forest and shade line are constructed with the utmost quality from naturally-shed white tail deer and elk antlers. there's just something about the black shade and the base that look stunning. i know a lot of people are way over the antler thing, but i think this look is timeless and would look classic, not trendy if used in a simple, modern home. and it would look smashing on my glossy black sideboard...ah, to dream. available online right here. enjoy!
