the modernlist is a recently launched site that covers modern architecture, design and culture for both manhattan and seattle. with a slick interface and a growing list of places to dine and shop (arranged by neighborhood), it's sure to be a useful tool for those traveling (or living) in either location. the design section isn't exactly overflowing yet, but there are a few shops listed (even one in brooklyn), so check back to see what comes next...enjoy!
