Alabama Chanin is a Florence, Alabama based company that makes some of the most beautiful and detail rich clothing, jewelry and housewares using the principles of "slow design" and sustainability. Each of their pieces are handmade by local artisans out of only locally sourced organic and recycled materials. The intricate hand stitched details, especially on the clothing, are just incredible! Just a few of my favorite pieces:
