i really appreciate it when organizations give back to the next generation of designers in the form of scholarships and grants. in august, the aiga/LA (the professional association for design) is having an event called craftivism in los angeles. craftivism will be a one-day crafts marketplace with ticket proceeds going to benefit the aiga scholarship fund. if you're in LA on august 12 please be sure to stop by, and if you're an artist and would like to take part click here for more information on exhibiting. more details are below, thanks to jennifer at the aiga for the announcement.
- craftivism will feature unique products, contemporary artwork and one-of-a-kind design gifts for sale, along with drinks, food and music provided by DJ collective Droog.
