fabric/question

dombra is easily one of my favorite patterns from marimekko. it's a bit oversized (the pattern takes up most of the window) but i'm thinking of making a cushion for our kitchen bench out of it. the soft gold/metallic color makes it blend in just enough to not scream "this is a BIG pattern!". you can pick up dombra for $38/yd at repro depot right here or scan their full collection for more affordable options.

speaking of fabrics, anna at sub-studio is having a textile conundrum and i thought someone out there might be able to help. anna and sean (her partner at sub-studio) are getting married soon and they'd like to find an inexpensive printer that could silk-screened images onto runners for their wedding reception. anyone have a good tip? anna's in nyc but anything in the surrounding area would be great...thanks!
