top design: episode two

alright, the second show is over and it's time to dish. will anyone be giving it a third shot? for me the show just doesn't fit the bravo format and it seems sort of lost in the pattern of host, judges, drama and deadlines. maybe it just hasn't hit its stride but i'm not sure if i can do another episode. i love that goil's architectural style reminds me of an even hipper vern yip and i actually really liked carissa's room, but i just feel like the show is missing the mark. does anyone else feel like it was a bad idea to have them only shop at the pacific design center? where's all the cool hip (young?) furniture? it just feels a little limited and stuffy. oh, and did anyone catch kelly's fingerless gloves? her sleepy "thank yous" reminded me of a mix of paris hilton and padma. anyway, feel free to dish below...
