yesterday ac and i braved the relationship-destroyer known as "ikea". this time we went in with a plan and a tightly edited list of things to buy and it made all the difference. we went to pick up a docksta dining table (i can't afford the real thing) and try to find some fabric by the yard for our curtains. it turns out that the ikea in elizabeth, nj has a crap fabric selection so we left with only the table and some mirrors but i did check out their new bedding in person. they're having a full on josef frank fest in the store and these ethel blad linens were pretty cute. very frank and perfect for kids (or big-kids). they had some bolder patterns but this was by far my favorite so i thought i'd point it out. would be nice in a bedroom that needed some subtle pattern but nothing overpowering. click here for more info ($20, who could beat that?).
