the lovely kristina at three layer cake passed along the work of susan bradley, a young british designer making waves in the intl design scene (kristina will be featuring an interview with susan in april!). i was instantly drawn to her style, which focuses on laser cut motifs in metal and mirrors. i'll be the first to admit i'm kinda nearing the end of my laser cut phase, but these pieces are lovely- especially bradley's outdoor wallpaper (made of: brushed stainless steel, mirror polish steel, rusted steel, powder-coated steel in many colors, aluminium or perspex in various colors and translucencies) that can be used as a unique garden trellis, screening or simply as a decorative feature or installation to create an immediate impact in any space.

in addition to the outdoor wallpaper, bradley has designed a series of laser cut furniture and mirrors that continue with the idea of simple patterns cut into modern, clean-lined furniture. her japonaise coffee table is one of my favorites- it would look gorgeous in a clean, white loft. or maybe as an upgrade for paris hilton's mirror obsessed home (did you guys see that? i love that she has a huge picture of herself on the wall). check out susan's full collection right here. she's stocked throughout london, but you can order directly from her as well- click here for more info. enjoy! [thanks, kristina. all photos from susan bradley's website]
