hats for a good cause *

kristen, the voice and ideas behind modmom, wrote with an email that both saddened and intrigued me today. kristen was diagnosed with breast cancer in january and has been working on her blog during her treatments. she's living with the side effects of chemo (hair loss) and described herself as "not a wig person"- so she's holding a hat design contest and wanted to see if any d*s readers were interested in turning in designs? i hope some of you will be. the deadline is march 31 and kristen will be posting the entries daily- and i'll be posting the winners on my site. so, please click here for more info and to enter. the hat above is clearly a bit more dramatic than what kristen's looking for, but i just love philip treacy.[thanks kristen, you're in my thoughts!]
