fake horn?
Do you like this story?
im def. not an authority in the realm of synthetic alternatives to natural materials, but i thought some of you might know something about this. i love the look of natural horn, but clearly hate that you have to harm an animal to get it (or even use anything from an animal to get it), so obviously i don't own any of it and won't ever. but, i've seen "fake horn" before and it looked pretty cruddy and felt really plastic-y. does anyone know of anyone using "fake horn" that looks and feels nicer than the gaudy plastic kind? im crazy about this super chic dog bowl at unica home ($503 for real horn, ahh!) but clearly wouldn't ever a) buy real horn products or b) spend $503 on a pet bowl. but, i love the look. does anyone know if there is a synthetic version of horn that looks and feels nice?
