love/no love for the laser cut

personally i'm nearing my maxium capacity for laser cut designs, but they seem to still be popping up everywhere. d*s reader, and fellow design reporter, kristina of three layer cake, was at the imm cologne furniture fair and sent these pictures of the zanotta booth- covered in the laser cut motif. apparently it was all over the show in a major way (in both fashion and home design). i think it's a beautiful technique but for me, i'm nearing "over it" status. what do you guys think? everyone has their own threshold for trends, so...love for the laser cut or no love?
