i promise i won't delve into music all the time, but i wanted to do a quick post about this. i just downloaded (finally) the matisyahu album and i've loving it. if you don't know matisyahu yet, you will. he's a crown heights, brooklyn based hasidic reggae singer. now, i don't normally like reggae (at all), but something about this is really interesting. what's even better is i used to work with matisyahu's record label pres., aaron bisman. we were both ropeadope crew and when i left i knew he was destined for big things. bisman started j-dub records to celebrate jewish music and i'm so thrilled to see how big the label's gotten and how big one of his artist's has become. very cool stuff. if you're into checking out something different, click here. i suggest starting with "king without a crown". enjoy!
