who do i love thee, let me count the ways...

i just have to share something. i have been in love (deep, forever and ever love) with eero saarinen's womb chair since i can remember. this has long been the chair i've lusted after, but have never had anything near the funds required to buy it. but, i think today i'm going to start saving up. this is one of those cases where i cringe about how much someone (ie: me) could possibly pay for one piece of furniture (the chair is $2,278, the ottoman is $667- ouch!). oh well, to dream, yes? what pieces of furniture do you long for, but could never afford to buy? would love to know...meanwhile, i'll keep dreaming about my womb chair in a cuddly soft boucle, perhaps in grey or a soft blue or even a butter color...mmm...womb chair.
