french touche

thank goodness for airports. sometimes i'm so bored while waiting for a flight that i'll buy upwards of 5 or 6 shelter/gossip/fashion magazines (that's right, i have no shame, i buy us weekly) to pass the time. thank goodness our flight was long, because it inspired me to pick up lucky (i usually stick to domino when it comes to conde nast shopping glossies). lucky profiled the most fantastic french online boutique (you know me an my obsession with all things french) that ships internationally. hooray! so...here goes. [thank you, lucky!]

editor's note: although don'tcha know- now that i'm picking things out, some are available in store only- so if anyone lives in france, please drop me a line, i will seriously pay you to send me some of these things. i HAVE to have some of this stuff. please? pretty please? save this sad sad sponge.

french touche carries a gorgeous selection of delicate porcelain tabletop accessories- be sure to check out the tiny bowls and salt cellars (well, im assuming that's what they are, that's what i'd use them for). they could also be used for jewelry or something i guess. either way, they're painfully cute (i love the insect, clover and feather pieces). i love the insect motif. so summery.

in addition to cute ceramics, check our their gorgeous lamp/lamp shade collection- so elegant and so worth the shipping costs. i love the japenese inspired wall lamp- one of my "must haves" that i will give my first born to have sent to me from france (ok, not my first born...).
