the missing
Do you like this story?

as usual, i forgot to post some people in my big wrap up piece on brooklyn designs, so i'll start adding them now.
dania introduced me to steven of the design can and it was so nice to finally put a face to a name i've been hearing for some time. i've always admired the design can's work at the future perfect. aside from their simple, modern skew shelves, they make these cool mirrors with cut outs in them that, if places at the right height, make you look like you have an eye patch and a parrot on your shoulder, half of a skull face, or even a bird pooping on your head. i know, a bit on the wild side, but funny if you're looking for a piece that starts some conversation. they also make the 'parcel table' that stacks and provides storage for magazines, etc. you can find more info on the design can here.
