kappa, kappa cabana
Do you like this story?

if you're like me and miss the good old days of trading spaces (when alex was the host, not mindy paige david. barf.), you'll remember laurie smith- the super souther, super preppy designer who never made a mistake (you'll remember what that title is from, too). her traditional meets modern style was always a winner with the homeowners and now she's taken that sensibility to hancock fabrics. she produced a nice line of sensible fabrics for designers and designees that includes this fabric, pacesetter, that i dig. it's sorta retro and nifty, i'd like to upholster a small cute piece, like an old ottoman, in it. pacesetter comes in three great colorways and is pretty easy on the purse. so, check out her line here, and see if you can find a way to bring a little old scholl trading spaces to your life.
