fig is the handywork of designer ilene antelman. her sensuous textiles are both modern and timeless and you can really see the hardwork and skill that has gone into every piece. i haven't always been the biggest fan of quilted or embroidered textiles, but ilene made me a believer- her use of color and texture is out of this world and i only wish i could afford to drape all of my loved ones's beds, couches and chairs with her luxurious throws, blankets and pillows. my personal favorite is the ritu series, but you can't go wrong with the other sets- they're beautiful, feminine and the result of a remarkable talent that is ms. antelman. so, cruise on by figstyle.com and check out the rest of ms. antelman's work. you'll be glad you did.
