for their smashing coverage of the imm cologne furniture fair 2005 (and for providing lovely photos which appear above and below). i so wish i could have been there to see all of these amazing designs. sigh, some day. but at least i missed karim rashid's crap designs for label. bleeeech. i hadn't even seen that fly chair. egad is it ugly. anyway, back to the good stuff...
kai linke's dahlia (see above) was to die for. so so creative and so so gorgeous. jeremy edwards' cork table was cute and functional (cork and felt are all over the place these days...) while australia's matt smith hit a homerun with this elegant PEACH fruit refrigeration system. please please click on by designboom's wonderful coverage of the show. it's not to be missed (just like the "tokens" wallpaper). plus, it gives you something to do while you're killing time until 5.
