an ode to maine...

my old roommate, rachael is from maine, therefore this post is dedicated to her. another fantastic d*s reader IMed me yesterday with praise for their local portland, maine design store called ferdinand. and boy were they right- this store is painfully cute and has some awesome homemade goods that are available online right here. from gorgeous hand-crafted lampshades and stationery to super cute onesies for babies with images of squirrels and big wheels on them- this store has nailed the cute factor with an edge of cool. if you're in portland, be sure to check them out, otherwise, click and browse here for more ferdinand goodness.
