D*S CONTEST!! (woohoo! hey! look here!)

hear ye, hear ye, on this 18th day of february let the search for the best in independent, diy design begin!

in a world where it's so easy to lose track of what's really important about design (the process behind the product: the joy of building and designing things by hand), i thought it would be great to celebrate all of the talented designers out there who have yet to be noticed! so....

* submit your work via email with a short description, images and some fun things about yourself (like, do you like ice cream? oh really? what's your favorite flavor?)

* i'll take entries from today through next friday and announce the winners on monday, feb 28.

* entries are divided into the following categories: furniture, product, jewelry, graphic and other (bc i hate to leave anyone out).

so...tell a friend, tell a neighbor and spread the word! let's celebrate the diy-ers out there who are making great design a reality. d*s salutes you!!

update! please please please only send attached pictures (not just a link) and a description of the product and you (via email, not the comments section please). and remember diy, indie design can't be something that's being produced by a manufacturer...thanks!
